The building has an interesting history and a secure feel. Breakfast provided a good start to the day. The common area is accessible 24 hours, with tea, coffee, and hot water available. The room was clean. it was among the cleanest I have experienced. The balcony was an additional advantage. I appreciated these aspects.
Water pressure in the shower was noticeably low. This was a slight disappointment.

The lodging sits ideally, close to a metro station and nearby restaurants, situated centrally to all attractions. This makes the area convenient for accessing various parts of the locale. I found it quite accessible, as well.

i found the location to be very central and safe. there were many restaurants and cafes nearby. the building has an interesting historic design. i liked that coffee, water, and tea were available throughout the day in the common area.
the walls seemed thin, and i could occasionally hear noises from the hallway

Excellent Stay at a Wonderful Building
helpful staff comfortable mattress secure access
I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The mattress was comfortable, so I slept well. I used the AC unit because the room was a bit chilly. I felt secure because codes secured the main entrance and upstairs access with a physical key just for my room.
The walls were thin and I heard noises at night.

Breakfast had good items and the common sitting area looked beautiful. The breakfast area connects to a little patio. It was nice to enjoy coffee in the common area until late.

I enjoyed that the location was very good. Lots of delicious restaurants were nearby on Carrer de Casp near the Tivoli Theatre, and they were open late. It was easy to walk to the north end of Las Ramblas.

poor noise insulation small room
the location was quite central allowing easy access to many attractions.
the noise insulation was very poor i heard everything from the hallway early in the morning. the room felt smaller than expected based on the photos online it was hard to move around with luggage. the shared bathroom wasn't ideal it required leaving the room.

The room size proved inadequate. It was too small for comfort. the air conditioning barely functioned. the shower was also oddly small.
